MIDAS Digital and Analogue Switches
Thruput Switch capability
Thruput specialise in high integrity switch solutions, mainly for Air Traffic Control or applications where data security and data isolation are required.
GF SW 02 Analogue 2K x 2K switch
Developed to switch 2K x 2K analogue displays, including the Sony DDM with perfect fidelity, this device is supplied with either PS2 or USB data entry device switching (please specify at time of order).

GF MIDAS high integrity switch
Developed for the Merlin Helicopter Mission system simulator, the MIDAS high integrity switch is a hardware only solution which has no impact what-so-ever on the data sources. The device enhances an operators situational awareness in two ways:
- All connected data sources are viewable at the same time on a single monitor.
- A single Mouse and Keyboard is able to interact with each data source display, but with complete isolation of the data between sources.

Custom switch service
Thruput provides a Custom Switch Service, that enable any video, mouse, keyboard, touch screen and data sources to be switched in any quantities and in any combinations. Integral to this capability are easy to use controls that provide system state feedback to the operator, and if required to the systems that are being switched.
Thruput also provide Analogue to Digital video conversion for any resolution, including 2048 x 2048 so that legacy systems may be interfaced with any modern displays.
In all Thruput switches, all digital and analogue video switching takes place without any degradation of the video quality.

GF MIDAS Alpha bending switch
Historically, performing cross platform checks has been a complex and involved process, because it has not been possible to display different outputs on top of each other, while seeing both sets of data.
By applying high-speed video processing techniques within a KMV switch, this becomes feasible, either for whole screens or for common map features (such as reporting points) extracted from different sources, cropped and positioned (with transparency) in a stack.
An additional benefit, that all the source hardware is kept fully synchronized, means that there are no delays at change over.
