COMMAND & CONTROL: VIDEO WALLS
The MIDAS provides the ideal post-processing engine for combining secure live video feeds. With support for digital or analog sources to display content at any size, with alpha-blending, layering, and colour manipulation or filtering. The high availability ensures continuous operation in even the most demanding command or control centre.
FLAWLESS REAL-TIME RENDERING
The MIDAS flawlessly renders video in real-time without degradation of the picture quality. And by real-time, we mean real-time! At every stage the latency is kept to an absolute minimum, but without losing functionality.
AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL: MITIGATION
The MIDAS provides the only real time hardware solution to radar blackout zones created by wind farms. Wind farm turbines create a Doppler effect as they turn, which shows up on radar screens, so as aircrafts pass through this zone they can disappear causing air traffic controllers to lose their exact position. The MIDAS has the ability to separate out radar interference caused by wind farms ensuring that they can continue to grow to be a key resource in the battle to reduce CO2 production.
LIVE VIDEO: LOW LATENCY
The MIDAS routes the data across 15 dedicated proprietary graphics processors that provide full frame control of every pixel. The ensures that all video streams are simultaneously processed to give a real-time urgency to the data.
SIMULATION: MACH 4 AND BEYOND
Able to generate Ultra-HD images from 8 sources across 3 screens all using Dual link dvi. A rugged product able to provide field of view simulations for highly-detailed and destructible environments, no host software is necessary as the fully hardware driven solution creates accurate and visually stunning environments.
ALPHA BLENDING: FILTERING
An advanced alpha blending algorithm enables real time manipulation of live data to on selected layers. The powerful engine allows multiple layers to be independently blended within pre-defined regions or using a complete alpha video source channel. Typical applications include 3D processing offload, combining dynamic images, or comparing two similar video sources.
TABLET PC: ANDROID HAS LANDED
Currently in development is the Android virtual controller, with the ability to control and manipulate the MIDAS via a small Android tablet PC. The handheld controller will enable full remote control of the MIDAS functions. This option is of great benefit to users of the MIDAS as it enables direct control of the system with a familiar interface.
