MIDAS enables video data from multiple systems to be
rendered simultaneously, each within a dedicated on screen window. The
system is designed to accept all legacy and current generation video
formats.
The power of MIDAS is that a
single mouse and keyboard is able to interact separately with the
processor for each and every channel, simply by entering its window.
Some common screen configurations are shown below. |
|
MIDAS enables the worlds largest 2048 x 2048 video display, with a 37"
screen diagonal. The 2048 x 2048 image (left) is from an Indra
SACTA source and provides the user with a 75% increase in area, with a 32% increase in target separation on
screen compared to a conventional 2k x 2k display ( right).
|
MIDAS allows multiple independent
data sources to be displayed.
This screen
shot shows one high resolution channel (2048 x 2048) and two low
resolution channels (1600 x 1200 and 1024 x 768).
The high resolution
channel is highlighted to show it is currently using the mouse and
keyboard. |
