(ATG) At-The-Glass
The Sentinel Integrated & Dual-Link Recorders support at-the-glass recording. Which means that the video source can be recorded without loading software onto the host computer, and without affecting the normal monitor operation.
During at-the-glass recording the Sentinel Integrated & Dual-Link Recorder will not be detected by the video source computer. This is ensures the recorder can never cause a software problem or interrupt a systems performance. Thruput’s at-the-glass captures all athe data displayed ans all the actions performed by the user including mouse movements in real-time guaranteeing an exact screen recording of the source at any resolution up to 2048 x 2048 or 2560 x 1600.
An At-the-glass Application
A typical analogue video system is shown in Figure 1. Here a passive video splitter is used between two standard length video cables. The mid-connection of the splitter is connected to the Sentinels DVI-I connector (using a video adaptor if necessary). The LAN recording is then configured for single- or dual-redundant operation as required by the user.
